With Fathers day approaching in June, i have been gathering lots of ideas together. My husband works so hard for us, juggling full time work as well as freelance work at the weekends. He is working so hard to better his career and to make sure that we are looked after as a family and to give us a wonderful future. I am so proud of him. More than he will ever know.
I want to get him an amazing gift this year. I love these choices from the great gift company (who are also launching a women's and childrens range). Gilles loves his classic cars and fishing. I am sure he is going to be the best old man ever! I always joke about us being old. Him pottering around in the garden, fishing and playing golf and me sitting in the garden knitting and taking little walks along the river with my journal and flower press! It is how we are going to be and i am very much ok with that! Not that i want to wish our lives away but the idea of us growing old together makes my heart flutter. Cheesy i know!
Gilles is actually going to be away in Dublin the weekend of Fathers's day, so i hoping to plan something for him before he goes away so he has his day and has his moment where everything is about him because it always makes sure everything is about me or the girls and i want him to have his time. He gave me the best mothers day this year and i want to make sure he has the best father's day.
-this is a collaborative post.
