At home with habitat

                                              (Sofa/lamp/vase/cushion/wall print all from Habitat)

Creating mood boards is something i love doing. I have a very specific style and sometimes i like to broaden my search and find pieces that i wouldn't normally look at. When i was younger, my late grandad had a little flat in Bristol and everytime i visited, i remember it having such a retro feel. There were a lot of browns and wood and it always made me feel happy and safe being in there. He also had an apple tango phone which i thought was the coolest thing ever as well as a whole room dedicated to spice girl memorabilia, but that is a completely different story altogether!!! I just remember the lovely earth tones and feeling like you had stepped into another world. Even though my own style is much more light and airy, i love putting pieces together that make me feel calm and inspired and falling in love with that one item that you wouldn't have normally picked out.
