My love for interiors is increasing by the day. I spend many hours on pinterest just swooning over all the beautiful houses out there and taking inspiration to bring into my own home. We are extremely lucky in that we have beautiful wooden floors in a few off our rooms but in the kitchen and Mia's room, it is laminate. I have wanted to change both rooms but we just couldn't find an middle ground as wooden floors are very expensive. We also have a section in the kitchen that is vinyl tiles that i really do not like. We are half way through redecorating our kitchen. My husband has stripped down all the cabinets for painting and has also added paint onto the walls. I have been looking at different floor types and i am in love with the wooden style vinyl flooring at Carpetright. The floor looks so authentic and is perfect for a budget and is a quick and easy alternative. I love the beige marble floor floor or the stone tile effect vinyl flooring.
Mia's room is another room that we have nearly finished but would love to add a new floor into. It's a light laminate floor at the moment and we would love to have a dark oak wooden finish in her room to match her sisters wooden floor boards. There might be wonderful floor boards under the laminate in her room but we have found that with Elle's floor boards, alot of her beads and craft things get stuck inbetween the boards so a laminate floor would be the perfect solution for Mia's room, and it saves a lot of sanding and varnishing!
