American cities that deserve your attention

If you’re thinking of heading to some new cities this summer, there are plenty in the US that you probably have never visited before. There are lots of cities that are famous around the world, but you have to branch a little further out and see what the world has to offer if you really want to uncover hidden gems and places with plenty to offer. We’re going to discuss 5 US cities that you probably have been to before but most definitely should in the near future.

Santa Fe

Santa Fe is located in New Mexico, and it’s certainly the most laid back and easygoing city on this list. It’s the kind of place that you should head to if you want to take things easy and embrace the slower lifestyle that people are fond of down there. There’s a decent art scene with good local galleries, so you can absorb all that too.

Charleston is most famous for being one of the most friendly cities in America. This is the kind of place where you can always rely on the kindness of strangers. It has that Southern charm that people from all over the world find so endearing. And the other classic Southern elements, such as the food and all the beautiful buildings make it a great place to visit.

Right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, you’ll find Boulder. It’s one of Colorado’s highlights, and you should definitely head there if you have never done so before. It’s perfect for anyone who loves to cycle, walk, hike or climb. In fact, there are not many places better in the world for those kinds of activities. But it also has its cosmopolitan side with music festivals and a great food scene.

Denver is known as the Mile High City because it’s so high above sea level, making it a pretty unique city to visit. It has more to offer than that little fact though. From food festivals to boutique breweries and beautiful architecture, Denver has it all. But so many people still don’t know much about it at all. It’s time to change that. The AC Hotel Denver Downtown offers you the perfect base from which to explore the city for yourself.

The grit and grime of Baltimore make it appealing to many people, but it’s still a place lots of people avoid. Sure, it might be gritty and authentic, but why should that be a bad thing? It’s a true embodiment of the hardboiled American city, and you really are missing out if you’ve never been there before.
