Mental heath, yoga and psychiatry

Tomorrow, we break up for the 6 weeks holiday! I work at the school so I have the 6 weeks off work also. I have been thinking over the last few weeks about some things I would love to achieve over these 6 weeks. It is a wonderful time as the weather is lovely, the days are long and we have all that time to be free and to adventure. One of the main things that I would love to work on is taking care of myself over these 6 weeks. Working on my mental and psychical health and I wanted to share some of my plans with you.

- Exercise and yoga. Since recovering from my illness back in February, I haven't done any exercise or yoga. I love both and feel both are so good for my mental health and well being but I wanted to make sure that I was mentally ready to introduce exercise back into my daily routine. I am planning on alternating yoga and running everyday. I will run along the river 3 times a week and do a yoga session either inside or in the forest or meadow 4 times a week and then after a few weeks, I will switch these days so that I take on 4 days of running. I am really looking forward to getting back into a routine, staying healthy and working on my yoga.

- Working on my shop. I have my next update of my vintage shop coming up next week and I am hoping to have a few updates throughout the summer holidays!

- Photography and blog work. I am really excited to be able to throw myself into taking on more campaigns and taking on more photoshoots. I have a few booked and will be spending a few days with the first week working through my emails and on some blog content.

- Working on my mental health. Even though I am taking on exercise and yoga, I am constantly wanting to do things to keep me happy and positive. I feel that I am in such an amazing head space and I want to continue doing things to help me slow down and stay positive. This will include attending my therapy appointments, looking on betterhelp at psychiatrists and continuing to go on forest walks on my own to stay calm and happy. I think it is so important to make this a priority in your life. I also feel that It is so important to be able to chat with a counsellor online to keep checking in with yourself and keeping your mind healthy.

- Adventures. Many of them. I am so excited to share with you all the lovely adventures we have. I have some days out planned and lots of places I want to take the girls as well as meeting with some lovely new friends from Instagram. I feel this will be our best summer yet!
